# How we write baby guides

Verdict

Every guide starts with a verdict and who it is not for. Numbers need a primary source and a check date. We have not lab-tested products. If we cannot source a figure today, we omit it. That is the whole method. Skip our pages if you need a clinician or an in-person fitting.

Guides begin as a question, not a keyword cluster. If the SERP is a wall of retailer grids with no editorial, we may still write a skip-list — that is the gap — but we will not scale a thin template to a hundred near-duplicates.

Every specific number is either sourced and dated or omitted. TOG tables are labelled as manufacturer-style. Survival statistics we do not hold are not shown. We do not reuse competitor phrasing.

The named editor is on /author/hannah-cole. Corrections go to /corrections. Related pages must link both ways.
