When is Next the better baby-clothes shop?

When is John Lewis the better baby-clothes shop?
When you want to ask a person, see a GOTS mark on the garment, or return a fibre you dislike. High-contact pieces — sleepsuits and bodysuits — are where a real logo is worth a trip. A hat they will wear twice is not. John Lewis is not automatically certified; the garment still has to show the licence.
Should you split the basket between Next and John Lewis?

How do you check GOTS in five minutes?
