How affiliate links work here
Amazon UK links are tagged amazon.co.uk URLs on the href — not a /go/ redirect. Other retailers hop via /go/:partner?u= which requires https, no credentials, and a host on that partner’s allowlist. Anything else is 400, never a redirect.
Awin tracking URLs (awin1.com) get the publisher id at the hop. John Lewis, Next, Boots, Argos, Very, Mamas & Papas and JoJo Maman Bébé remain direct-host partners until an Awin wrap replaces them.
Optional measurement starts only after a reader allows it in Privacy preferences. It counts retailer clicks without routing Amazon through a redirect and without visitor IDs, IP hashes, query strings or form values. A measurement failure never blocks a link.
World Aid Network donate links are not affiliates. NHS, GOV.UK and Lullaby Trust links are not affiliates.
